POÇAS 40 YEARS OLD TAWNY 

Poças is one of the few Porto wine producers founded by Portuguese that remains in the same family to this day.

The story of Poças began in 1918. Today, the 4th generation of the family blends the ancestral knowledge of the company with a modern mindset and eyes on the future, aiming for another 100 years of history.

The Tawny 40 years represents its legacy, produced with the best batches aged with an average of 40 years. It presents a complexity and concentration that only guess what 40 years could give us.

One aspect that, in my view, makes wine a special beverage is its intrinsic relationship with time. There are nuances and qualities that only time can reveal, making each bottle a silent witness of the hours, days, and years gone by. In this context, time transforms into the most precious good we have, enriching the wine with stories and flavors that can only be achieved through patience and waiting.
