Produced at the emblematic Bairrada house, Colinas de São Lourenço, the Principal Grande Reserva offers a different perspective on Bairrada and Portuguese wines. A blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Touriga Nacional questions whether Bairrada is the land of a single grape variety.
A wine with more body, more muscle but the same longevity. It is no coincidence that Colinas de São Lourenço was one of the estates handpicked by Fladgate to begin its journey in still wines.
I personally, a great defender of indigenous grape varieties, took years to admit to myself that this is one of my favorite Portuguese wines.
